This notice explains how Votivus Consulting Limited uses cookies and similar technologies across the website, diagnostic tools, and client portal.

1. What are cookies
Cookies are small files placed on your device, and similar technologies store or read information from your browser. Some are set by us ("first-party") and some by providers we use ("third-party").
2. Legal basis and our consent rule
Under the Cyprus ePrivacy Law (Law 112(I)/2004) and the ePrivacy Directive: strictly necessary technologies (essential to a service you have asked for, such as keeping you logged in or remembering your cookie choice) do not require consent; all other technologies (functional, analytics, and marketing) require your prior, informed, freely given consent before they are set or read.
Our rule, which we enforce technically through a consent-management platform: no functional, analytics, or marketing cookie is set or read until you have consented. Our banner lets you accept all, reject all (non-essential), or choose by category, with reject as easy as accept and no pre-ticked boxes. Where consent also serves as a GDPR basis, we rely on Article 6(1)(a).

4. The specific cookies we use
The complete, current inventory of the cookies and similar technologies actually in use (including each technology's name, provider, first/third-party status, category, purpose, and duration) is generated by our consent-management platform and published in our Cookie Preference Centre and at votivusconsulting.com/legal/cookies-inventory. We keep it current and update it when our cookie use materially changes. This live inventory forms part of this Notice. You can view it and change your choices at any time before or after consenting.
5. Managing your choices
- Banner and preference centre. Accept all, reject all, or choose by category at first visit, and change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie Preference Centre. Withdrawal is as easy as consent and does not affect cookies already read before withdrawal.
- Re-prompt. We ask again when our cookie use materially changes and at least every 12 months.
- Browser controls and Global Privacy Control. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the service. Where our tool supports automated signals such as Global Privacy Control, we honour them as a valid rejection of non-essential cookies.
- Record of consent. We keep a strictly necessary record of your choice to apply and evidence it (retained 12 months).
6. Third-party technologies
Some cookies are set by third-party providers we use, currently Cloudflare (hosting, security, and CDN) and Google Analytics (analytics), and may in future include others such as our payment processor Stripe. Where a provider determines its own purposes, it acts as an independent controller under its own policies, which we encourage you to review. Our key providers are in our Subprocessor List. If a third-party tool materially changes its cookie behaviour, we update the inventory in section 4.
7. Children and changes
Our site and services are for businesses and users aged 18+, and we do not knowingly use cookies to profile children (the age of digital consent in Cyprus is 14). We may update this Notice when our website, tools, or providers change; the "last updated" date shows when, and material changes are reflected in the banner or a prominent notice (a "material" change has the meaning given in our Terms of Service).
